Fender Precision "Black Forest" Bass

Fender Custom Precision Bass, 4 String. I bought my first Fender Precision bass guitar back in the 1980's and I loved it. It was an postCBS, early 70's model and I bought it used for $325 out of the classified ads. It was easy to play, had a great rock sound, was solid and durable, however the color black, boring. So i refinished the instrument. AlvinArt Graphics did a new design and clearcoat by Sisto, and then it looked killer on stage. I also bought a couple other cheaper basses that looked cool but sounded wimpy and trebly compared to my Fender Precision. Priced to sell in a down economy. $999.00 free shipping

Ibanez IJXB190 4-String Custom Electric Bass

The Ibanez IJXB190 4-String Custom Electric Bass was an especially clean, handsome guitar with all the Les Paul essentials. The overall tone is clear and rings true in any format with booming low end, crisp middles and highs that are now again what timeless music is made from.

The first time I played the bass it had nice tone, very solid sound, it was simply exquisite. It has 21 Frets. It has volume, middle, and treble controls.

Sound: You can play from heavy metal to '80s pop with this bass. I play mostly heavy alternative, Motown, funk, classic rock, punk, and the Blues. I use The Ibanez IJXB190 through an Old Vintage Peavey Bass Mark IV Head. The Bass amp Drives a Hartke Bottom with 2, 18 inch Speakers.

Action, is Reliable and Durable with good sustain despite the EXTREME LOW ACTION, as I adjusted the action really thin. But that's just me.

Finish is Custom paint is red, same as the peg head is the body. The Artwork is unique to this instrument and is copyright of AlvinArt Graphic Body. Price $499.00

Impression: The bass fits my style very well. I have been playing for 43 years and I'd get something else, I really like the Fender Precision. I use a vintage 81' Peavey Fury as my practice Bass. I use the 1969 Fender Telecaster Bass for gigs, among my favorites.
